27 June 2005. While I have admittedly been slack with News
updates, I do have two new recipes for you to try in the latest edition of The
Cookbook. There are these new asian-inspired recipes, but none of the usual
amendments, corrections, changes, excuses and more. Next time, OK?

Takeover denied
13 October 2004: New PittCorp chairman, Trevor Pitt, has
denied that PittCorp is working towards a takeover of the Murdoch, Packer and
Fairfax media in Australia.
"While we acknowledge that we occasionally 'borrow' a few recipes from them,
they are far too small to fit PittCorp's immediate plans", he said. "Maybe
in a couple of years?".
What's happening?
Finally I'm updating this site. It's only taken me two very long years to get around to this.
So far, I have redone The Cookbook and my résumé using Quadralay's ePublisher (v2008.4), Acrobat Professional 8 and FrameMaker 8. I'll redo these again using the very latest ePublisher version, 2009.1, as soon as I've loaded it. Some other sections aren't quite up to date, but these too will be updated and prettified.

The About section is basically about me and
my technical writing, and includes a current .PDF of my résumé.
The Work samples section contains samples
of work I have done for clients using Adobe FrameMaker©,
Quadralay WebWorks ePublisher© and Adobe Acrobat©. Shortly I will have a new suite of recent samples of my craft.
The Recipes section, for the aspiring or experienced
home cook, contains my personal collection of recipes. It is also a short
demonstration of my writing and technical ability with the above tools. For the first time I've included a PDF of the complete book which you can save locally and print at will. I'm sure you're suitably excited.
